On verso of title-page: Forces's Collection of historical tracts. "A discovery of the Barmvdas" (p. [9]-15) is a reprint, without acknowledgment, of Jourdain's work first published in 1610. "An addition [etc.]" by one of the colonists who went out with Gov. Moore in 1612: p. [17]-22. "A copie of the articles which Master R. More, gouernour deputie of the Sommer Ilands, propounded to the companie that were there with him ... anno 1612 " : p. [23]-24. "The epistle dedicatorie" (p.3-7) signed "your seruant in Christ Iesus. W.C.," is ascribed by Neill (Hist. of the Virginia company of London, 1869, p.54) and by Brown (Genesis of the U.S., 1890, v.2, p.621) to Rev. Wm. Crashaw. Sabin, however, ascribes it to "Castell?"
